Ceiling Fan Light Kit Installation

Adding a light to a ceiling fan to improve the lighting in a room. In many cases replaced a ceiling fan. Adding to the fan light kit, ambient light in the light of the original ceiling is not lost. 1) Turn off the ventilator circuit. Confirm the unit is turned off by pressing the switch for the fan.

2) Open the box base or bottom fan. This is fixed in position by one or more screws. Make sure that the light kit is compatible with the ceiling fan. The holes on the bottom of the light should be with the holes in the lower part of the fan.

3) Connect the son of the light kit for the child in the fan base. Twist son of the same color in each segment with a pair of pliers. Drag a nut, a connector insulated copper plated wire twisted in relation to the child by turning the nut clockwise.

4) Press the child in the grip of the fan in place while lifting the light kit. Fasten the light kit on the fan base with the screws provided with the light kit provided.

5) Check the kit through the return of the fan power module. Check the fan and light.

Notes:

  • Looking for a light kit, which is for the fan can be a challenge for old fans. While the electrical circuits are equal, the arrangement of the screws that secure the group of lighting devices according to the fan.
